There is plenty of woo-woo in here, including ancient accounts of the yagas and an unusual technical familiarity with Sirius by long ago civilizations. There is also enough astronomy and physics to satiate the ones who want hard science. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 740128[link to loststarbook.com] Cruttenden has been trying to get his point across on BAUT. [link to www.bautforum.com] Reaching for the sky makes you taller. Hi! The comments about how Sirius has been at a stable position in the constellation of Orion over the course of recorded history shows that we are NOT orbiting it. Also, the fact that the Alpha Centauri system has three times the pull of Sirius on the sun negates any possible pairing with Sirius. |

[link to www.bautforum.com] Very good link! I usually avoid the "Bad Science" website and all of its other pages because of the utterly brain-washed stance of the proprietor over there. Remember, he could not make it at NASA (employed there for only a short while), and now he teaches science at a grade school. "Those who can't, teach", you know? His scientific abilities are those of a freshman who crammed in order to pass his finals. |

Dr. Plait worked for NASA for 16 years, now he is a full time publicist and president of JREF. [link to en.wikipedia.org] His co-proprietor Fraser Cain is a Canadian computer scientist. [link to en.wikipedia.org] They both have asteroids named after them. Although this is a refreshing change from the usual "He is a NASA shill!!11!!!" Reaching for the sky makes you taller. Hi! It travels a similar journey around Alcyone, the central sun, which is how Nibiru can visit here every 3600 years of it's current orbit around our sun and Sirius. This however does NOT make us a binary solar system. Nibiru once encircled a Sirian sun and blew it to smitherines in war fare with another planet of the same sun. Since Nibiruns lived inside their planet they survived and were placed in this long orbit around the two suns. Nibiru is partially self propelling. And it is NOT due here for 1600 more years and will not be here again anyway, because we are moving elsewhere. there is a brown drawf as it is labeled by our scientists, but not really an old sun, that does orbit and help stabilize our solar system, way out past Pluto. We are NOT a binary solar system, well we now are, because Jupiter was made a sun last winter. Hiding behind our sun, traveling at the same rate as earth, so it stays behind the sun from our view. We may see it in several weeks, up to star fleet. There are starships showing holograms pretending to be Jupiter and Venus at this time so those spots on them are merely hologram changes. Playing the movie differently. |

And your theory about Jupiter suddenly speeding up and will no longer be seen by earth is based on what? And where did you get the idea that Jupiter ignited? Guess that was faked too? phooey. |
