What race were the ancient Sumerians? Anunnaki?

Unknown. Probabely redish skinned, non semitic. They suddenly appeared on the scene in mesapotamia without any clear history ororigins.

I've read alot of books about the subject and visited quite a few musea.

Sumerian language is related to Korean and Magyar; it is most hungarian. This points to Asian origin of at least the mothers of the Sumerians. Their religion is nothing like an Asian religion though. The obsesion with the lunar cycle is very neanderthalish. Many of the Sumerian figures with protruding brows look like nenderthals. If large brained neanderthals fused with highly organized Asians this would explain the incredible and never paralled leaps attined by the Sumerians ,such as the wheel, the potters wheel, the plow share,and the arch.

Sumerians were not black or Asian. Look at their noses, they are long and straight and the eyes are roundish. The cuniforms tell us they were named the "black haired people", not the black skinned people.

Not saying they were white but at the same time they are not black or Asian.

Linguistically they were definitly Asian but their best students were the semitics. Hence the people with the long noses. The semitics out bred the Asians ;then they became the Babylonians.

The Asian invasion which created the Sumerians helped establish Uralic language of Hungary, Estonia,and Finland. Some believe Uralic is related to Korean.

I suppose thats possible. However the noses are depicted as straight and long as a rule not bent like most semitics or squat like most Asians. Also the men with beards are depicted with full beards denser than the beards Asians generally have.

My guess is they are semitic, putting the nose aside, that would make sense given location after Africans are ruled out.

There must be archeological information on this somewhere.

Just wanted to add that in the only picture I'm aware of showing the first baby that the hair of the baby is straight in a pony tail style. In my mind it rules out African heritage, that and the straight nose.

What do you think the nose of someone whose mother is Asian and whose father is semetic would look like? Still I do not think that Semetics and Asians were the only two races in ancient Sumeria. Judging by obsession with the lunar calendar and the red headed goddess/vampire Lilith there probably were some rh- people living in ancient Sumeria also.

The Sumerians were just Idol-Worshipping Gentiles who didn't know the One True God and were lost in their own sin, trying to fight their way to salvation in ignorance. Much like many people who are alive today.

I don't think I've seen many Asian/Semitic mixes truthfully.. but I'd guess They could look like what you think. Except the bone structure/facial features do look more caucasianish than either Asian or Semitic. I'm basing that on the many depictions i've seen over the years.

They would probably look like the Afghanis. I'm sure someone has done facial reconstructions and DNA testing on the dead Sumerians. For whatever, reason this knowledge is not shared with the public.

The sumerians said the Gods lived among them. It wasnt until later that idols were created. Course this was well before people started making names for the rest of the people on the planet and claiming God belonged to them only.

Highly advanced civilizations have been here before us, just to be destroyed by some great global catastrophy. But for each race that has died out another has taken its place with a selected few holding on to the memories and sacred knowledge of the past race. In Sumer, the alien race of gods were known as the Anunnaki. In Greece, the Annodoti. In the Celtic lore, the Tuatha de Danaan. However, these actions (the interbreeding and sharing of secrets with humans) incurred the wrath of the Most High God, and a number of other gods who were disgusted by this interracial breeding. This sparked the massive and devastating battle of the gods that has come down to us in the legends of both the War in Heaven, and the Deluge. Then, in order to cleanse the Earth,s surface of the curse of humanity, they covered it with a flood. Interestingly, this flood is mentioned in the legends of almost every ancient culture on Earth.

These Anunnaki are said to occupy another planet in our solar system (known to scientists as 'Planet X'). This planet is called Nibiru, and is situated somewhere beyond Pluto. This planet, unlike other planets in our solar system, moves clockwise, rather than counter clockwise. It was a collision of Nibiru with another planet in our solar system which created Earth. Nibiru's orbit passes through our solar system only once every 3,600 years.

According to Sitchin, while the Anunnaki production of gold was increased by mining in South Africa, so was the physical effort to extract it. After continuous day and night gold mining for a period of 150,000 years (450,000-300,000BC), the South African Anunnaki mine workers revolted. The mutiny was resolved through the intercession of the brother/sister gods of the Anunnaki named Enki and Ninharsag by genetically engineering an African apewoman to create a replacement laborer. Neanderthal/human inter breeding can not be dismissed on the basis of one gene. Red hair and frecles are a neanderthal trait. These traits along with RH- occur in areas the neanderthal last lived. This is circumstantial evidence that neanderthals swapped DNA with early humans. RH- is close to being a separate species of human because before the invention of rhogam Rh-women RH+ men matings were almost invertile; at most only one viable child could be produced from such a union; the marker of separate species is the inability to produce fertile offspring.

Neanderthal was closer to humans than humans are to chimpanzies. Neanderthal was an offshoot of Australopithecus. Other offshoots of Australopithecus who were more closely related to humans were alive at the same time humans and neanderthals were vying for territory. These offshoots may have formed a bridge allowing neanderthal DNA to be transferred to modern humans.
