I believe this is a classic 'big brother' type of move to instill fear and show that you can run but never hide (unless you are in gubmint). What would be intersting would be the details of his crime and the statutes of limitations for them including his escape. In any event the man will most likely die in jail as only the most recalcitrant and incompetent doctors work in the jail systems if there is any 'healthcare' at all. A former friend with multiple brain tumors is in jail and is being denied any and all healthcare or medications so he is just left to die in agony. |

But this is an example of law enforcement w/o logic, going by the "Letter of the Law" and burdening the sytem further. Obviously, he left his life of crime and is no threat to the public. |
