It's the day of the Lord which is judgment, not the gathering together which is the Rapture. This distinction is clearly made by denoting 'day'.

Reading 2 Thessalonians we can see the day of Christ is when we are gathered to him and that does not happen until the falling away occurs and the man of sin is revealed.

Why would one be shaken in mind or troubled for the Rapture? They wouldn’t and the Rapture happens in the twinkling of an eye so there would no time to be troubled. It doesn’t make sense does it?
