This happens everywhere everyday there is a "bike" path. They build them then people who walk feel entitled to walk two and three abreast like they are walking down the street. there are usually signs that say walkers need to stay to the right and children be kept at hand.

In Central park NYC people are so stupid about walking in the bike lanes there are frequent accidents.

It's not a sidewalk, it's a BIKING TRAIL people were HIKING on. This is whY I stopped riding bike at all.

Todays young parents are as much children as tier toddlers and it's so out of hand it creates these situations.
He didn't kick the child he gently pushed her, she should have been out of the way.

While I agree it is the mother's job to make sure her kids are in a public space meant for walking/cycling/jogging, and they aren't getting in the way....

in this case, because of the slippery conditions, there were not going to be a lot of people riding bicycles (because clearly this fuktard is some kind of obsessive asshole who had to get his workout in).

For that reason, he needed to expect conditions to dictate that normal road rules do not apply and he should clearly let them know he was behind them and he should have slowed down.

Further, everything he says is bullshit because any decent human being who knocked over a small kid would stop and apologize and help the kid up make sure she was ok.

Yea, well I live on a mixed use trail. MIXED use. Bicyclists could give a shit. Walkers are expected to yield, especially when there is a group of cyclists. You want to ride your bike fast - get on the fucking road! Cyclists dressed in the gear are generally major assholes. I see it every day.
