I do have sympathy for people suffering but you leave a lot out of your story. Like how and why you became homeless to begin with and what have you done to try to get back on your feet. Most people want to help in some way, even if it’s only suggestions or ideas. Just listening to someone talk about how screwed they are and how everyone screws them over when some of us drag our asses to work even though we have health problems and we work mandatory overtime to prevent from being in a position of homelessness. It kind of sends the wrong message. I understand how nothing seems positive for you, you’re probably fighting freezing to death, you were just barely surviving with your vehicle and now it’s been towed. I hear ya, but try putting it in a way where people can understand that it could have happened to them. You need a hand up right now and there are people who would probably help if your message was easier to relate to. Help getting a P.O. Box and getting your vehicle back and finding a safe place to park would be a good start.

Its true man. Ive had alot of struggles in life but i learned after a while that if you want to live good you have to start with housing.

I bounced around and would have a place for half a year or up to a year, id usually have problems right before being somewhere 1 year. I also have plenty of acquaintances who are housing challenged.

I decided having my own stable place was a requirement and needed to stay with it no matter what. Its alot easier for me because the city i live in is cheap. However it can still be hard, people want to see a rental history or cosignor.

So basically you are living in your car so the cops just towed your house. i slept in my car in dead winter a couple days, it was miserable.
