So I have hated credit cards all my life for never giving me a chance. I used to work full time and rent a house from a company for years, pulling in over 70k and banks wouldn’t even issue a $500 card or unsecured credit of any kind.
As you know, I have been very poor and am currently looking for IT work living off early pension/disability and investing.
I read about the guy who had his church shot up - that huge church who preaches about prosperity and wealth in their gospel. The same day this happened. He’s the good looking preacher on TV who has a show on the cable tv religious channels of North American cable tv providers. I forget his name.
I kid you not, the Her was over when the phone call came - My bank offered me a sortof decent interest (20%) credit card, and a reasonable limit of $2500 to start. I applied for one of their cards in early 2023 and they had denied me, and the credit report for me didn’t even show a number when I checked it on Equifax.
The only bill I have is my auto insurance, and I pay for accidental death insurance also - both from my banks company - I won’t name it here for confidentiality. Perhaps this helped?
Otherwise it’s the investment in NVDA which I’m holding in the same bank as my new credit plan which exceeds what I started with by about $5000 now. Does this affect credit score now? I was bit hung about this not being a metric before. Perhaps God was listening after all?
Or because I have 3 accounts with the same company who is my bank.
In any case, I am looking for some general advice on how to best build rating with this card now that I have one to level up. Not max it correct? And no stock market shares? I was thinking to buy some of those silver coins with the UFO on them and resell later for double with my autograph.
I am very grateful. Thank you universe.
If you know me I have the ERP thread where I talk about credit cards in a very negative way and suggest a global initiative to replace them under a 20 Ounce silver coin based digital currency along with AI system for all banking, business and investments.
So having a credit card opens me up to being able to do business and importantly improve my future earning and renting potential, or If my truck breaks down I might qualify for a line of credit.
Anyway - to the Great Bank in the Sky - many thanks!
What is the best credit App for score monitoring and fitness to use on iPhone?
