Quoting: Anonymous Coward 86882481 Not sure what this means. Religion or faith doesn't require a building. It's a personal thing that can be shared with others who feel the same. Most true Christians prefer to pass around bibles rather than bottles of booze or lines of coke. The issue is many people want to paint Christianity all the same color and not all Christians or churches meet God's definition of what God and Jesus say they must. The following might be of interest to some on that topic. Most of christianity believes this trash. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 86879398 Blab it and grab it Name it and claim it Whatever you want to call it. It's actually called 'word of faith' and is heresy. It's a marker of where we are on God's prophetic timeline. The 'church' is in full apostacy, as the endtime church is predicted to be. We are close now ... the Lord is even at the door. Besides these word of faith heretics, the gnostics, the legalists, the cultists like the catholics and mormons ... there are very few actual biblical believers on this earth. That's why actual, real christians are called a 'remnant' ... just a few ... of small numbers. God doesn't dwell in buildings made with hands. Most so called churches are simply houses where evil men prey upon weak minds of people who are spiritually blind. Most sell the people what they want to hear, not truth, which would be inconvenient for both the speaker and those listening. There are lots of people who believe on the bible, but don't follow what the scriptures or Jesus say. There are very few true followers of Christ. Most are Christian in name only. Which is exactly what Isaiah 4:1 shows and the other scriptures I post below. Isaiah 4 1And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. Matthew 7 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Revelation Chapter 1 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. 19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; 20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; |
