"A Total Scam"– Trump's Endorsed Bible Has a History of Negative Reviews

The new Trump-endorsed God Bless the USA Bible isn't actually new. It was announced by Lee Greenwood in 2021 and was marketed as commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11. It was also first marketed at $49.99.

The God Bless the USA Bible was originally going to be in the New International Version, a popular version in the United States, but switched over to the royalty free King James Version after Bible publisher Zondervan backed out after controversy. Many Christians took issue with wrapping the Bible in a nation's flag and including nationalistic documents alongside it in a single volume.

It's unclear if the move by Zondervan or other constraints caused issues, but Google reviews reveal several dissatisfied customers who purchased Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA Bible. Many of them were waiting for the orders to be fulfilled and left 1 star reviews.

Another person complained that they ordered the God Bless the USA Bible for their wife and it "looked good on the outside, but on the inside the margins were way off." This is an indication of poor product quality. A few others were happy with their purchase, but many people complained about the extended shipping delays.

Some were upset that their God Bless the USA Bibles didn't arrive before Christmas. Frank Cherichella asked if this was a "scam" and he would "hate to think that of Lee Greenwood." Another person who was charged for 3 Bibles wrote a review the day after Christmas: "At the best bad service at the worse a total scam."

Review: "Very disappointed. 12/26 no books, no notice, no response. At the best bad at the worse a total scam."

Another reviewer attempted to return the God Bless the USA Bible and couldn't get any response from customer service and said their phone line states there is restriction on it that keeps calls from being placed.

Now that Trump is on board and has endorsed Greenwood's God Bless the USA Bible, for a cut of course, will he be ready to scale up his business? Past ads have called the God Bless the USA Bible "limited edition" but these are numbered and there wasn't an announced production amount. Meaning, they will probably keep selling them as long as there is demand.
