Of course, the fuel and cargo needs to be removed before the ship can be re-floated as the Dali weighs empty as much as the washington monument * to replace the Key bridge, maybe the fallen sections can be fabricated elsewhere, and brought to the site by barge, and raised up into position, to repair the bridge in less than 4 years, after reconstructing the foundations * the other option might be to construct a much larger bridge that would eliminate much of the infrastructure of the old bridge, but the most economic but not cost-effective option would be to replace only what's been damaged, with steel coming from china, and assembled in india * overall, think of how many new jobs will need to be created as a result of this terrible tragedy “Queen Sarah, save us from the Black Dog King!” - from the play, Dissocia [link to tasaonline.org.au (secure)] "Never be anyone's French poodle." - Mr Hamilton |
