During a solar eclipse the moon goes BEHIND the sun as it does in every new moon, totality is caused by the black sun...
All mainstream science lies are inversions of the truth.

Knowing this we can conclude that the moon goes behind the sun during an eclipse, not in front as they say.

The black sun, also known as rahu is what gets in front of the sun during a solar eclipse.

Rahu, is what orientals call the dragon which devours the sun.

We know the dragon is that ancient serpent called satan.

Therefore the sun is occulted by the eye of Lucifer during an eclipse.

"According to Vedic Astronomy, the most ancient and accurate system of astronomy on the planet, solar eclipses are not caused by the Moon coming in front of the Sun as astronomers believe. Rather the Moon is described as being further away than the Sun and what happens at the time of a solar eclipse is the Moon goes behind the Sun and a dark planet call Rahu comes between the Sun and the Earth.

Of course, because we have been conditioned to believe as fact the structure of the universe as it has been taught to us since childhood we find it very difficult to accept such a thing.

But it only requires a little thought to see that actually the ‘modern’ scientific idea is incompatible with our observations and the timeless Vedic knowledge is compatible with our observations.

Look at the moon on a full-moon night. It is shining so brightly that it lights up the whole surface of the Earth. On a full moon night you can very clearly see everything. Of course it is not as bright as the sunshine, but everything is very clearly visible. And if you were to view the earth from space on a full moon night it would not be dark. It would be illuminated by the moonshine and all the features of the earth would be clearly visible."

Hi,

The problem with this is, even though Earth shine is pretty bright, it is NO WHERE NEAR as bright as the sun. When the moon passes in front of the Sun (at least from a conventional perspective), the reason you can't see the features of the moon is because the sun's corona (the sun's atmosphere that is much larger in radius than the disk of the sun) is actually extremely bright.

You can't tell normally because the disk of the sun is even brighter, but the atmosphere of the sun is really bright too. So, the problem is when your eyes see two bright things, the brighter one looks bright and the less bright one looks completely black.

If you look at sun spots its the same thing. Sunspots are actually EXTREMELY BRIGHT. BLINDINGLY SO, in fact. However, they are significantly cooler than their surroundings, which means they emit less light. To our eyes, they appear completely black. However, if they were by themselves without the rest of the sun and you stared at it, you would go blind. The same thing happens (at least conventionally) with the moon.

Because the surrounding corona of the sun is so bright, the light that continues from it while the disk is blocked makes everything else look pitch black by comparison. Its just an optical illusion.

Absolute loony BS! I've watched solar eclipses in binoculars. It's a very impressive thing to watch and the Moon does not go behind the Sun. This especially apparent if you are watching a partial solar eclipse.

Binoculars? Yes, I've made solar filters that fit over the lenses.

It would seem possible that some sort of scientific experiment could be devised to check to see if the surface of the moon is illuminated from Earth shine during a solar eclipse. Maybe some kind of a narrow field telescope that is able to block out the glare from the sun's corona. How exactly are scientists so certain it is the moon that is going in front of the sun during the solar eclipse?

There's really no point in arguing with the idiots that support threads like this. What you are asking for is widely available on the net if you really want to see it.

Considering all the really stupid stuff promoted on the forum of late I can only come to the conclusion that it is fomented by agents to discredit the forum in general and make the threads that have validity more dilute.

What kind of frigging asshole are you? The solar filters I have constructed to do that are no different from the ones used by people doing solar observation with telescopes.

That being said,

NEVER use unprotected optics to view the Sun.

NEVER!

I didn't think you people were that ignorant not to know that, perhaps I was wrong.

Can you show us these photos and videos of the roughness of the craters and mountains at the edge of the disk during a solar eclipse?

WTF?

Why?

Wouldn't change any minds if I did. Don't even know why I responded to the ridiculous thread in the first place.

It is rather well known and creates "Baily's Beads" when viewing.
