Liberal Supreme Court in its move to give Gitmo Terrorists US Constitutional rights may have condemned them to life in prison.
Since 2002, Congress gave Bush the ability to invoke the Geneva Convention. He has chosen not to invoke the Convention because he didnt want to "dignify" the Terrorists as prisoners of war. They are a lower order of scum.

Hundreds of terrorists have passed through Gitmo and many have been released. Over 30 of them have gone back to work as terrorists and committed crimes against the US.

This new Supreme Court ruling gives the remaining terrorists we are holding and all the new ones we capture, the same rights as citizens with attorneys and US court trials to determine if they really are enemy combatants.

To convict them in court of law would compromise our intelligence sources and technology.

So the only solution is to invoke the Geneva Convention and keep the fuckers till the confilct is over, which could be for the rest of their lives.

It also supersedes any law that the supreme court rules and Bush has a free rein on anything he wants to do to the fuckers under the convention.

You have a problem with Gitmo?...go file a complaint with Genena. Like we did in WW2, Korea and Vietnam.

The terrorists can kiss their deserts with dinner, their copies of the Koran, soccer and color TVs goodbye.

They can rot forever in a tiny cell that isnt half of what they have at the Gitmo resort and have some of you GLP terrorist loving woo woos to thank for their situation.

Rat infested bamboo huts should suffice. Perhaps a bowl of roach infested rice every day or so to keep them healthy and happy.

There is another unintended consequence of giving them Constitutional rights. Our soldiers may no longer allow them to surrender on the battlefield. It would be a real pain in the ass for our troops to have to rotate home so the perp can question his accuser.

Geneva convention?

USA is quilty of war crimes (such as murder of non-combatents) and waterboarding and other tortures.
US solidiers would be prosecuted for war crimes under the Geneva convention.

Used to be anyone in the USA or US territories was not only subject to US law but also protected by US COnstitution.

Who thought up the lie that we can have law without the Constitution?

Not possible.

Constitution is supreme law of the entire USA.

U S Constitution, Article. VI. - Debts, Supremacy, Oaths
[paragraph 2]
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.
 Quoting:

btw/ Habeus Corpus
The right to be charged with a crime or released MUST be extended to Anyone other than a POW. GITMO detainees are either POWs subject to the Geneva Convention or MUST be charged or released within a few days.
There has been no rebellion nor invasion. The US invaded foriegn nations not involved in 9/11. (Saudi Arabia WAS involved in 9/11! but Bush did not invade them. Kinda like invading Mexico after Pearl Harbor, is what General Clark said)
Section 9 - Limits on Congress
[paragraph 2]
The privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.

Once again PACNW guy displays his ignorance. The Supreme Court is not liberal, but majority conservative. Bush himself appointed the conservates (or most of them) to the court.
Check out your facts and try again curly.

and many are just innocent people. kudos.

you'd have to prove them terrorists. you're using the same sort of logic that states all germans are nazis, per usual. way to go, brainiac.

Over 30 of them have gone back to work as terrorists and committed crimes against the US.

got proof of that count?

in many cases we are too stupid and too arrogantly irresponsible to KNOW who is a real terror suspect and who isn't. so now we have innocent people in these hellhole places who are being being treated like shit just because they are there. real americans want them out, the crazies on these GLP fascist trips do not.

ignore the other guy's human rights and sooner or later YOURS will go away; how many MORE historical atrocities do we have to have to drive that point home?
why did i send myself to this world?? there must have been a reason.
