Rat infested bamboo huts should suffice. Perhaps a bowl of roach infested rice every day or so to keep them healthy and happy. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 462694i just can't get my mind around torture, for any reason, but a bullet between the eyes, seems appropriate "By way of deception, thou shalt do war." Geneva convention? USA is quilty of war crimes (such as murder of non-combatents) and waterboarding and other tortures. US solidiers would be prosecuted for war crimes under the Geneva convention. Used to be anyone in the USA or US territories was not only subject to US law but also protected by US COnstitution. Who thought up the lie that we can have law without the Constitution? Not possible. Constitution is supreme law of the entire USA. [link to www.usconstitution.net] U S Constitution, Article. VI. - Debts, Supremacy, Oaths Quoting: [paragraph 2] This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding. btw/ Habeus Corpus The right to be charged with a crime or released MUST be extended to Anyone other than a POW. GITMO detainees are either POWs subject to the Geneva Convention or MUST be charged or released within a few days. There has been no rebellion nor invasion. The US invaded foriegn nations not involved in 9/11. (Saudi Arabia WAS involved in 9/11! but Bush did not invade them. Kinda like invading Mexico after Pearl Harbor, is what General Clark said) Section 9 - Limits on Congress Quoting: [paragraph 2] The privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it. |

Once again PACNW guy displays his ignorance. The Supreme Court is not liberal, but majority conservative. Bush himself appointed the conservates (or most of them) to the court. Check out your facts and try again curly. |

They are a lower order of scum. Quoting: PACNWguyand many are just innocent people. kudos. Hundreds of terrorists have passed through Gitmo and many have been released. Quoting: PACNWguyyou'd have to prove them terrorists. you're using the same sort of logic that states all germans are nazis, per usual. way to go, brainiac. Over 30 of them have gone back to work as terrorists and committed crimes against the US. Quoting: PACNWguygot proof of that count? This new Supreme Court ruling gives the remaining terrorists we are holding and all the new ones we capture, the same rights as citizens with attorneys and US court trials to determine if they really are enemy combatants. Quoting: PACNWguyso? To convict them in court of law would compromise our intelligence sources and technology. Quoting: PACNWguyheh. right. you are aware that our own commander in chief compromises our intelligence, yes? |
