It looks like the child's sister tried to tell her mother that the child was in that machine and at first she didn't believe her.

Wow, I would be freaking out instead of laughing on this one, but of course if I saw my daughter in a toy machine and as a mother, knowing me I would probably panick as well.

Why allow the other daughter to be babysitter?
She is the mother.

Why reward the child for the activity and teach her that theft is okay?
They kept the animal that was retrieved.

You are right the parents should have been watching her more close instead of relying on the sister.

I am going to watch this again I didn't see if the child had a toy or not.

I am a mom. I just get frustrated by how uninterested people are in being real parents anymore. Setting examples, teaching morals, letting the children be children-not born babysitters.

If she can crawl in a machine without the mother noticing, she could of easily done something far more dangerous or had stranger danger occur.

I agree. However it seems that the machine owner is partly to blame having such a large opening in which a small child could climb.

True, the hole is large...
But, a cliff is deep, do we still allow our children to run around without our guidance.
If they fall off the cliff, whose fault is it?

I love the ease inwhich we in the USA always blame it on the owner of the property.

Like our own responsibility, brain pan and choice has nothing to do with our circumstances. It used to not be that way. That way gave us too many laws and too many intrusions on our personal freedoms.

Because we beg to be parented instead of parent.
The hole could be as large as the machine, the child still requires active parenting in her life.

Yeah you have to keep and eye on your kids. But at the sometime give them the illusion of freedom.

I agree. If you teach your kids that somethings will not be tolerated, they won't try crap like that. When I was a kid, had I gotten myself in that mess, I could bet I'd get my ass spanked by dad and a strong talking to. No if and's or but's.
