what i learned from a roulette winner, yeah, the guy won repeatedly, all night
Atlantic City.
the guy was from Philly.
i was playing 5/10 outside bets, mostly red/black.
this guy strolls up, and places black chips,
which are worth 100.
he bets on red.
i watched the board, and black was like 7 in a row.
he lost.
he doubled the bet, like about 400.
he won.
he got my attention.
he was willing to talk.
i sort of followed him around, and he was friendly
enough to tolerate my noodlish behavior.
i watched for a while.
he did not win every time.
but he followed streaks.
i asked about it.
he said, yeah, the ball does not know what it just did,
you know, the law of independent trials.
the odds of one spin being black is still
the same, no matter how many blacks have shown up.
but,
he said what is in play is the
frequency
of how many times you see 7 blacks in a row.
of course, you will see three blacks in a row
much more often than 7 in a row.
so, look for 10 or 12 in a row.
that happens much less often than 3 in a row.
so, he bet accordingly.
if the long streak continued, he stopped.
he bet once or twice on a streak,
then walked away if it did not win.
on a busy night,
you see many streaks on roulette tables.
i learned to bet twice on 5 black/red in a row.
i did all right.

just thought i'd pass that on.

it is easily proven.
cumulative totals of roulette spins always show
the simple truth.
three black in a row
happen about twice as often as
five black in row.
three black in a row
happen about six times as often as
seven black in a row.

so, when you look at six black in a row,
the number of times it runs to seven in a row,
is small.
in other words,
when it is six in a row,
it will go off black many more times
than it will stay black.
you will see more six in a row
than you will see seven in a row.

it is not the odds,
it is the frequency.
many trials will prove the winnings.
unless,
you hit "flux" and you get
a weird frequency run.
then you call it a night.

They rig those games.

What you do on roulette is only play when its real busy. In Vegas I wait for a table to have no seats left and I just stand behind everyone. I only bet small in order to bring no attention to myself. Make sure i'm not the "big fish" at the table. I always win.

One time I went down to play in the morning and was the only person at the table. I was betting on black. I lost. so I bet on black again. I lost. This repeated 15 times and black never hit. I was wiped out in less than an hour. Almost impossible unless the game was rigged. I was the only "fish" at the table and so they robbed me. It will never happen again. I will never play unless the bigger fish are at the table.

someone who types
like this and pushes enter
more often than he should is a
sign that the person
is a liar
and he
shouldn't type anything
else because
anytime he pushes enter
it proves
beyond a shadow of a doubt
that he
is lying

You can win a lot more with craps, black jack and 3 card poker. Even the slots have better odds then roulette.

wow, 15 in a row is a mind blower.
it just goes to show what can, and does,
happen.
they cannot fix the games: the gaming commission
would close them, never to re open.

now, maybe an employee will cheat you, but that

true.
in roulette, there are so many choices, it is
embarrassing to admit i think it is fun.
gamblers think of roulette players as patsies.
oh well.
