PHILLIP BERG SPEAKS ABOUT THE OBAMA BIRTH LAWSUIT...it's really happening

I am an Obama fan and this whole mess is so very sad. I am worried that this issue could be used against him in the G.E.

The sooner it is aired and vetted in a court of law, the better. It is an up/down situation - - either he is eligible or he isn't and that should have been decided weeks ago. If it turns out that he is ineligble, millions of his staunch supporters will go into mourning.

If this were to actually work, and it won't, you're talking massive riots all over the country. The outcry would be huge; huge enough that a constitutional amendment to change the law would easily pass.

Besides, this fucks Hillary completely. The backlash would be so enormous that she would lose the general election.

Anyway, how about reading up on the original intent of the law?

Charitably, I'm going to assume that Mr. Berg is a nutcase. If he isn't a nutcase, then he's a paid operative for Ms. Clinton or the Republicans and beneath contempt.

Mr. Berg stated on the Coast to Coast interview with Ian Punnett that he was interested in exposing this quote "Before the Republicans have an opportunity to do it before the election and hurt the Democratic Party". Bullshit. Let's examine why its bullshit.

Right now the Republicans are gaining points on Barack Obama...owing largely to lackluster political tactics on the part of Obama and poor judgment (those of you about to label me an Obama lover can now reassess). Scoring political points and gaining in the polls is what the Republican party and John McCain want to do right now. One of their primary weapons at the moment is an attempt to drive a wedge between Hillary supporters and Obama supporters. Now imagine what would happen if the McCain camp, or some Republican proxy personage, introduced this birth certificate argument in, say, late September. Let's say it gets fast tracked thru the court system (conservative appointed court system so this is possible) and there is a ruling that Obama is O.W.T--OUT of the running. What then?

Well, the first thing that happens is that Howard Dean and Joe Biden step to the podium and Howard Dean says, "I suppose we should all be glad that the Republican dominated court only took away his CITIZENSHIP! And didn't send him to GITMO!!! They...(screaming into the mike as only Howard Dean can) HAVE TAKEN OVER OUR DEMOCRATIC PROCESS WITH A TRUMPED UP CHARGE!!!!! I BEG MY FELLOW AMERICANS TO UNITE BEHIND US AND TAKE BACK OUR FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

By the time Howard Dean and Joe Biden got done calling on the American people to support them against the Republican Party over the GROSS violation of Obama's rights as an American via the Conservative dominated court system, you couldn't get a Republican elected dog catcher in this country.

So are the Republicans that stupid? Would they risk uniting the Democratic Party by clearly and obviously having its top person removed by some vague issue of law? Why would the Republicans risk UNITING the Democratic Party, Independents, and other disgusted Americans by pulling this sort of stunt?

The only way they could do it would be to make it appear to come from WITHIN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY ITSELF! Which is why I say that Mr. Berg may be in the employ of Republicans. But frankly I don't believe that. I think Mr. Berg is just a nutcase who doesn't think beyond his immediate goal of how to impress Jody Foster...I mean, Hillary Clinton!...and knock Missus C's primary opponent out of the ring. Mr. Berg isn't thinking how this will effect the Democratic Party and Ms. Clinton's career.

And how would it effect the Democratic Party? Firstly, the odds of OBAMA supporters staying home out of disgust (should Hillary be handed the reins and not Joe Biden) grows to MAMMOTH proportions. And Democrats have been tasting victory in the presidential race for a couple of years now. Anyone who spoils that for them is going to be lower than crocodile piss.

If Mr. Berg's rantings should happen...by a miracle...to gain some semblance of reaction from the court system, and Obama be kicked out, then no one...NO ONE!...is going to believe he wasn't an operative for Hillary. I personally think the guy is a nut and not working for anyone...but let his plan work buddy and I tell you, I'll QUICKLY reevaluate my ideas!

Net result if Mr. Berg gets his way: The Party gets split even further than it is now, and probably loses in November. Then who gets blamed....the shitass Berg for one...but close on his heels...?...you got it...Ms. C herself! Democrats lose and Hillary's career as a Democrat gets flushed right down the tubes! If she was seen as having endorsed this guy (an admitted Hillary supporter) and it costs the Democrats the White House....ohhhhh....forget it! She's finished as a political personage in the Democratic Party.

And they would probably lose when disappointed Obama voters (i.e. 90% of the black vote) decided to stay at home.

Now understand...I don't consider it to be an automatic done-deal that Hillary would take the reins if Obama gets knocked out. If I was Howard Dean, in order to forestall EXACTLY this type of infighting from taking place in the Democratic Party, I'd put Joe Biden up as Obama's replacement (this is what would happen if Obama dies in office, so there is some basis for this plan) and front BIDEN as the party nominee...not Hillary. And if Hillary was smart, she'd back that idea too....maybe taking a VP spot if offered...or not...but for God's sake she'd better be working her ass off to make sure the Democrats By-God-Win! Cause if they lose and it's "her guy's" fault...? Like I say...her star will fall WAY fast.

Earlier I described the birth certificate issue as "vague". I believe this to be true. What Mr. Berg has...as a lawyerly failing...is the assumption that if you can prove ONE POINT is an error, that this negates TEN THOUSAND other points. With a Conservative court backing him, he might be right. But here is his argument in a nutshell. His argument, as I understand it, is that Obama is ineligible to run because he was born outside the United States. Fine. But Obama's Grandparents on his mother's side are Americans. His mother was born an American, and raised in the US as an American, and then returned to live in the United States AS an American for years and years now. Obama himself has lived as an American and served as a US Senator now for a number of years. And even Mr. Berg himself admits that if Barack's mother had been 19 instead of 18 that Barack would have been an automatic US citizen, if one parent is a US citizen, NO MATTER WHERE IN THE WORLD HE'D BEEN BORN! You gonna tell me that a few months difference is going to make the American people say, "The guy ain't no American."

In the court of public opinion, I think you are going to be hard pressed to find people who would say, "He ain't no American." Obama's mother didn't sneak across the border into Texas, have Obama and then return to Mexico. Obama isn't coming back after 35 years of living in Mexico to run for office. This is a guy whose family has roots in this country, has family in this country, and who has been living himself in this country and serving in it's political structure for umpteen years. You gonna try to sell that lemon to the US public???!!! You fuckin' crazy or what?!

But, as I say, on the legal merits...from a strictly legal point of view....Mr. Berg MIGHT be able to convince a judge. If Mr. Berg does do that, and some conservative judge tosses Barack out...it's a HUGE HUGE HUGE can of worms. One of those Constitutional can of worms.

If Mr. Berg is a Republican in Democratic clothing, then he's doing a great job. If he's either a nutcase, or working for Hillary, then he's just about ensuring a Republican victory in November, and maybe...just maybe...ensuring that Ms. Clinton loses every election from now on.

So exactly what act of ommission or commission will Obama have to perform to get himself debarred from running before November?

If there's merely a doubt about his qualifications to run, but no hard evidence, could they give him the benefit of the doubt?

Whites are usually very soft hearted towards a sobbing, crying Negroe, especially on TV, pleading for his job!

Who exactly does the debarring: the Senate? The Supreme Court?

If Obama is debarred, does Hillary automatically get the nomination, or could other candidates reawaken their campaigns eg Biden! Would there be another vote and another compressed mini-convention?!

If Howard Dean is smart, he'd back anyone but Hillary in the event Obama got knocked out...so yeah I think he'd back Joe Biden. Biden is OBVIOUSLY neutral in this primary fight. He'd be the perfect compromise candidate to both Hillary and Obama supporters so that neither side would have to hold its nose when pulling the election handle.

Oh and I just saw that Hillary is giving up her delegates to Barack Obama on Wednesday night...give the woman some credit...she's got some intelligence and knows which side of her bread it buttered.

Wait until October when the Repubs emerge with in. Then you'll see it in the MSM. They're just sitting on it, like the Edwards affair scandal. If they had brought that up when they first learned about it, then Edwards wouldn't have split the ticket, and Hillary would have been the Democratic Nominee over Obama.
