3) The creeping sense of boredom and tedium with this.

5) Finally, the realization that my search for intelligent life on this thread has yielded the same results that the SETI program has yielded thusfar. The null set.

In the late 1980s thanks largely to the efforts of Modern Day Wiccan and Witchcraft activists did the Governor of the State of Mass, issued an official pardon and denounced the trials of 1600s as hysteria.

The ironic state of affairs was that Salem had no Witches living among them at the time of the Hysteria. Today Wiccans and Witches such Laurie Cabot occupy Salem and Salem's primary source of income is as tourist spot and Witch home :)

Christians have been martyred by those across the religious and political spectrum. Are Pagans as pure as the driven snow? Back in 1920s Germany.. There was an EXPLOSIVE growth of Folk (German Norse Pagan) Revival movement. Everyone and their grand father were into Folklore Societies, Folklore Research and Folk Pagan revival movements. A Romance movement has sprong up across entire Europe to revive "Ancient Ways."

This was just after the horrid trench warfare of WWI and the heart of the world wide Great Depression.. Everyone was sick and tired of way things had been running in Europe and where despritely trying to reconnect to the past. Also around this time in England we have the Golden Dawn, Hermatic Secret Societies.. In Germany late 1920s and early 30s we have the German Folk Thule Society which a disillisioned Army Captian of World War I was joined as a member his name of course was Hitler.
