I am not even going in any further, until I comment on this video: I have studied this barbaric behaviour by the Church, and have always been horrified by it. Namely, even healers were tortured because they continued to heal with herbs and such. It is a blood stain on the Catholic, Protestant, and So Called Christian religion that stands below the throne of God to this day, crying out for justice! As do many other horrors inflicted by these in the name of God! What kind of LOVE is that? I want no part of such a stain!
I know what will be posted on this thread before I go in, and it will be Hate! Humans have always persecuted any who they could not make BOW DOWN to them, or who they could not control! This is what Religion is: Man's control of other humans, often to their detriment!

Well, before it was the "Christians" killing all who they could not control, the pagans did it for centuries; killing all who would not bow or offer up sacrifices to Diana, Apollo, etc. So go try to peddle your hypocracy some where else. There is blood on everyone's hands.

So....Winged....while everyone is preparing their final answer, here's a sub question for you:

How is it that any pagan ritual killing 2000+ years ago is "wrong" but Old Testament "God" ritual killing is okay?

(how much will he wager.......no responses from the audience, please......)

Too bad VH doesn't have the charisma of Christ, just a lot of angry words. Try as he might to justify his behaviour using the Bible, he just comes off as an angry person. I never knew any one to convert by anger, though fear has been a tool used by Christians.

You know, VH serves some purpose...

1. Certainly has been keeping this thread to the forefront just by bumping it and inspiring discussion... albeit some rather dark exchanges
2. Serves as a graphic example of how a frothing fanatic appears to others... might help tone down a few of the more awake souls inclined towards public display themselves
3. Acts as a peculiar sort of balance, for "as bright the light so dark the shadow"...
4. The rants are more likely to make "thinking" folks consider facts they might overlook otherwise than serve to "convert" anyone. He actually works against himself!

I say let 'im rant without comment as well. It's sometimes entertaining and easy enough to skip the posts when it becomes boring.

The ones that torque me off are those who post their "God's Wrath" stuff on the storm/natural disaster threads... this guy is just a bothersome gnat.

Suspect Terrorized Residents, Claimed God Sent Him

FORT WORTH (CBS 11 News) ― An east Fort Worth neighborhood is terrified during a string of bizarre break-ins.

Police say the suspect had knives strapped to his body and was yelling that God had sent him.

Four homes near the intersection of Panola Avenue and Catherine Street were targeted. No one was inside two of the houses. But those who were home were terrified, to say the least.

"It seemed like part of a movie," said Mark Sullivan, one of the victims. "Like something you'll see on T.V."

Sullivan said he didn't know what to think when he heard someone knocking at his door in East Fort Worth at 2:30 Monday morning. Police say the intruder was 48-year-old James Dee Young.

"I asked him what he was doing," Sullivan said. Young answered, "I just came to tell you the time has come."

Sullivan told him to go away. But he says Young kicked his door in and continued yelling religious rants.

"He said, 'Jesus said the time has come. The time is now. The time is now.' He just kept saying it over and over," Sullivan said.

Sullivan managed to force the six-foot-tall, 230-pound man out of his living room. That's when Young allegedly ran around the corner, kicked in the door of a second home and started shaking a 50-year-old grandmother.

The woman, who didn't want to be identified, said Young was yelling that God had sent him and the blood of Jesus was here. When her daughter started calling 911, he took off. But he didn't stop there.

"He went down the street and broke into a vacant house," said Sullivan. "Then he went to another lady's house. That lady was lucky she wasn't at home. He broke her window."

When police got to the last house, they found Young inside the fourth house he allegedly broke into.

They say he was hiding in a closet with four knives strapped to his body. He had cut his hand, ad they say he used his blood to write "God said it's over" on top of a table. Next to the message was a crucifix covered in blood.

Those who survived the bizarre break-ins say it's amazing it ended without any serious injuries.

Young is from San Angelo. He had some outstanding warrants, including one for DWI. He now faces additional charges from these break-ins.
