I know many a Slavic Pagan Circle/Group in fact have broken bread and song with them on occasion. Though we may share ethnic differences we Still worship the Same Gods/Goddess just different incarnations as the faith spread culture to culture. Nightshade 09 Ahhh! I might have expected that you had some of these attachments - based on your connections to Georgia. Are you a Volkhv or merely a practitioner? Do you follow the white fravishis or the black fravishis? From the pictures here (can't watch the vids - I'm on dial-up) I can't tell.
Just read a fantastic book that gives a huge amount of history from your part of the world as it relates to Magianism. It is unavailable in the USA at any library.
Before the Burning Times: Rediscovering the Lives, Beliefs and Deaths of the Witches, Pagans and Heretics. It's nearly a thousand pages and has a lot of material that is freshly translated from ancient Russian texts. I wish I could convince the author that it needs wider circulation. He committed a couple of faux pas in the presentation and found himself under attack by the voices of unreason.
I sincerely doubt that we may be returning to these original versions of paganism, but making our own would be a great improvement over the modern versions of churchianity.
But Hoo Nose?
