Good Evening, (or afternoon, depending) all, and welcome to the Q Files. Tonight hosted by that master of monitory mayhem, the doctor of dollar debauchery and doom, John Galt.

Tonight a special surprise, tonight’s show is supposed to be live.

I’m hoping for an interesting show tonight. With all that's happened in the market today, the rising gas prices, and the activity with Ike, there should be plenty to talk about.

On a serious, side note, my hopes and prayers are with everyone who is in the unrelenting path of Ike. May all of you, and those you hold dear be safe.
In fact, before the serious drinking starts, let’s take a moment to raise our glasses to those in Ike’s path, and wish them well, Godspeed, and a silent “good luck”.

And with that, let’s see what sort of financial doom John has for us.

And for those of you who need the rules for John’s shows, here are the rules…

The Semi-Official “Q-Files featuring John Galt Drinking Game”.

The rules for John’s game are the same as they are for Steve and Hawk. Whenever John says one or more of the following words or phrases, the drinking of the alcoholic beverage of your choice is in order. But be warned, While John’s doom is quite different from Steve and Hawk’s, the result to your liver, your sobriety, and your sanity is the same.

So, without further adieu, here are the key words for game.

“Banksters”

“Central Banks” or “Central Bankers”

Any news of a bank closing

“Federal Reserve”

“Fannie and or Freddy”

“Lehiman” or “WaMu”

“Plunge Protection Team”

“Bubblevision”

Any mention of either Cramer, (i.e. Mad Money on CNBC) Kudlow, (Again of CNBC fame) or Glenn Beck (CNN)

Any mention of Ben Bernake.

“Hyperinflation”

“New World Order”

The “Banana song” (or for that matter ANY of the hokey tunes John plays)

“Weirmar Republic”

Anything to do with the crash of 1929.

“Fiat Currency”

Now there are a few bonus phrases, These include:

“The Tree of Liberty”

“Frugal Squirrel”

“The Mogambo Guru”

Anytime John mentions how he drives across Florida for his job. That calls for a Double.

And a special Triple shot if John mentions the word “Chyron”. Those of you in the know will know what that is.

Again, this is not an exhaustive list. I’m sure there are more words to be added. But John’s rein as guest host of the Q-Files ends day after tomorrow, this will have to do.

Now on Monday, Steve returns for another one of his doom extravaganzas.
