No more satanic child support laws in Galveston, Texas

I don't get it.

I'm not American, and don't know about these laws. But what's wrong with supporting a child that you brought into the world?

Texas-based blog Grits for Breakfast is covering the shocking news that Galveston Island's sheriff -- despite official warnings that those who stayed in Galveston faced "certain death" -- refused to evacuate at least 1,000 people in the county jail.

People in the jail were terrified. The Galveston Daily News quoted a mother who spoke to her son Friday night in the jail:

For those who believe that men who can't pay their child support are just a bunch of dick-driven dead-beats, they simply have no clue and find it easier to blame the man then look at the system.

(brief synposis: I was sentenced to 6 months in jail after loosing my job because I could no longer pay $5,000/mo, and the courts said my ex was in no way required to get a job herself.)

And if you think I am a deadbeat dad after reading that, then you are as hopelessly broken as the system itself.

In my personal opinion, the problem is the dark side of feminism. I am 100% pro feminism, but there are men-hating woman out there who use feminism as an excuse to blame and castrate men because they refuse to take responsibility for their own lives. These are the woman who scream "Take responsibility" the loudest while shirking their own, and snidely quip "You're controlled by your dick", demeaning the man for the very same thing she once worked to hard to inspired in him (i.e. attraction). As a result, this dysfunctional feminism, which has saturated our schools, relationship, politics, etc, has resulted in a new breed of feminist-created men who are exactly the type of men that women despise... weak and frightened.

As much as broken men see women as sex toys, broken women see man as life-long meal tickets.

I own nothing, my car is worth $1000. and my work pay is becoming less $ less.

meanwhile the kids father who begged me into having a second child, decided to become an alcoholic, and has been buying land (5 acres) while lying about his minimal under the table income.

I hope I make it through next month.

Child support laws are INSANE, and they are not even close to being equal for men and women.
I sincerly do feel for you, but I don't think your situation sounds half as rough as what I went thru.
I got custody of my son because I lucked out by finding out that he had been placed in foster care for neglect and abuse, in spite of the fact that the social worker not only tried very hard to keep me from finding out, she had been advising his mom for some time about how to beat the system, being a CPS worker herself.
Anyway, I had custody of my son for seven years, and should have had her rights terminated, but felt for his best interest, he should be able to have a mom.
So, she came back from slutting it up with the sailor boys in Newport News, met a dumbass alky who thought he was so cool for having a young slut at his side.
She was making 8 bucks an hour, and being supported by the alky, who married her.Living on one of the most desirable lakes in Southwest Michigan, with a full acre right on the lake, driving brand new cars, and was ordered to pay...ten dollars per week.
After seven years of fucking with my son's head by REFUSING to visit him, and calling and actually saying, quote "Boo Hoo, ooh don't wuv me if ooh won't come and live wif me, boo hoo..." he eventually caved, and went to live with her.
The crooked judge, who my son told me in advance was going to really put it to me on behalf of her scumbag husband, since he was a fellow leech[City Hall employee] ordered me to pay NINE TIMES the statutory amount of child support, garnished before I ever was delinquent or anything, leaving me with 200 bucks a month for EVERYTHING, food rent gas , whatever.
I had to get an attorney, and take it to the State Court of Appeals, who promptly ruled I had already[my son was fifteen by then] paid MORE than I could owe thru age 18.They didn't order her to pay it back, though, so that money is gone forever.
THAT is a typical child support example.Your example is sonmething I have never even heard the likes of.
