Thanks for the comparisons. Great job and gives the best idea of the damage there that I have seen. I think that there will be a cover up of the death count....."bodies washed out to sea"....since FEDS are bailing out AIG even before they have to start paying out on the insurance policies people had.

Thanks for taking the time to look.Another thread on here led me to ABC13 Houston and they mentioned the comparisons
on the USGS GOV site and
before and after photos ONLY a FEW days apart.Boy how
those peoples lives changed -from luxury to nothing in
a few hours. The other world problems mean nothing to them.

My point is on the casualties--no light middle of the night and all those homes washed into the sea.We will never know
the human cost.

An associate living in FL said back when those 4 storms
hit S Fl a few years back esp around Punta Gorda and north,
many folks died and were just
buried and never counted. It looks to be the same thing here
in that no one knows who left and who didnt.Very sad.

this is the key.

they dont have to count the dead, they just say they are missing in the evacuation.

If half the people stayed on those homes, there is minimum several hundred dead.

I counted well over 120 houses 100% wiped off the face of the earth.
