I'm with you "comrade"....I for one know that I am not the smartest man around, but I'm smart enough to figure out who the smart men/women are. Combined with common sense, I figure I've done pretty well for the past 10 years...My mistake being to share my opinions. I've taken a lot of ridicule over the years, but the ones who are still around have a profound respect for me now... I don't deserve it...But I do deserve credit for trying to help people, which was always my drive to make myself look like a total jack ass..

they have been heavily infiltrated, i know of no one who would meet in a group larger than three or four people at a time, and even then the strictest measures are taken.
none the less, there are a great deal of sympathizers that will join the fight when needed. things got really really weird in the last few years
the funny thing is, most of the people i knew who were active, were also very active in the community, and i know of several occassions where they escorted someone off the property by gun point and called the cops/fbi because these people were clearly wack jobs, and instigators

Agreed, it could spin out of control pretty fast. I think the posturing of the elections and craziness over the stock market is simply there as a level of entertainment. I don't know if the swearing in could be post-poned, unless there was civil unrest and martial law needed to be called. But, we'd see plenty of looting for that. I'm not so sure the martial law would be called without the civil unrest.

civil unrest can be created in about two days time, that is how fragile our food/consumer goods pipeline is

I realize you are only trying to motivate people to take action, Duncan, but I still don't believe insulting them is going to help the situation. There are troubling times ahead, no doubt, and I think we all need to be on the same side here. Also, try not be so arrogant as to believe you have all the answers, and that others are simply "woo-woos" because of what they think. Who knows? They could be the ones saying "I told ya so" someday.

Times are tough work wise here but looking at picking up 20 acres (cheap ones) on a good water table and following in your footsteps.

Maybe grow a little corn and veggies set up a blacksmith (small) operation and a still. Im dying to start my own still lol for obvious reasons and possible industrial alcohol.

I could be wrong, but I think we are in for a little bit of reinflation before the final crash. I think we might be in for a few months or a few years of double digit inflation and extreme aversion to having American Dollars sit in a bank and devalue.

The ultimate endgame will be the same however...the dollar will be worthless.
