Oops, was I supposed to say that to a daddy? :lamo: Okay, this is just too freakin' weird. My daughter and the four women she works with all have a urinary tract infaction. Her sister in law also has one. All at the same time. They all live in the Phoenix area. Quoting: whats goin' on? 515335This is just too weird to be coincidental! Air, water, wtf? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 515119 United States 10/01/2008 09:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My daughter's got one too right now, and tonight her kidneys hurt. My husband and I were both diagnosed with diverticulitis within the same month recently, and we're both under 50. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 378573Digestive system issues. I thought the same thing - water. We're in Texas. Be careful if they suggest surgery, I had it, damned near killed me. I was 37 at the time, they wanted to treat it aggressively. It was aggresive alright. |

Fortunately we were both treated with antibiotics and sent home with more antibiotics. I don't have any more pain, but my husband still gets "twingy" if he eats the wrong thing. Trying to up my fiber intake and we're both drinking danactive. Seems to help. No surgery for me if I can avoid it. Are you doing better now? |

I will have her call the water company and ask about the disinfectant. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 515335Also, ask them for the last water report and when it's due to be tested again. The only other time I had major digestive issues I'm CONVINCED it was the city water. |

I've had enough barium in me I'm surprised I don't glow in the dark). It was my new years resolution not to allow that anymore. I was out of work for over six months and having nurses to the house twice a day, got some good scars to show for it. But since I dumped the pills and started eating healthier all is good, thanks for asking. |

Glad it's over for you, and thanks for the "hope" of a future free from butt probes and surgeries through healthy diet. That's my goal too! |

I eat a lot of fresh food, especially veggies, but pull out the seeds and steam them. Not a lot of carbs and no, no processed foods. Those butt probes suck!!! Good luck!! |

Tell her to have her BF go a little easier on the beav Quoting: Anonymous Coward 185055lol @ "the beav" sex isn't the only reason, although it is true that sexually inactive women have a much lower incidence of kidney/bladder infections. Water always wins. :sun: |
