Constellation Orion has shifted position.
OK I know Iīll get heaps of flak for posting this, but anyway...

Was speaking to a good friend today who is rather "unconventional" and spends most of his time wandering in the outdoors, barefoot.

He considers himself a shaman, and is obsessessed with the constellation Orion, believing that energies emanate from it.

I know that this is rather an unreliable source but anyway, I promised him I would post his obs on the net and see if anyone else has observed similar.

He watches Orion every night, to bathe in the energy so to speak. This he does from a power spot by the river near the city, the same spot every night for the last two months.

ANyway he says that he has been observing Orions rise the last few weeks, and the lower star of the belt has been rising at the corner of a specific building.

However the last two nights it has shifted at least 10 degrees west, nowher near where it was prior to the events of 26th Dec.

He is very concerned and asked me how much has the earth shifted after the quake? I said I had no idea, that there are conflicting reports of a wobble, but no huge shift like that.

Comments and obsevations would be appreciated.

I have an old sky simulator (circa 1994) which shows orion should be tilted much more than it is where I am, that is lying on its side more. It is at about a 60 deg angle at the moment.

Will try to find compass to take some postions but have just moved so this could take a while, everything still in boxes

Rotation is slowing we are wobbling like a spinning top thats coming to the end of its spin.
Hold tight pole shift soon.

Hmmm... er.... no. Nonsense. The "wobble" was so tiny that only military grade satellites can detect it. No human eye can and certainly, as I said, all the auto-scopes are working fine so, as I said, this is a spam thread.

As well you should. Comet C/2004 Q2 is right between Orion and Taurus, and hundreds of thousands of amateur astronomers are watching it every night.

Funny how they donīt notice that "Orion has shifted position".

Yes, lets leave it to untrained observers who canīt tell 10 degrees from 20, or who canīt find Polaris, or who canīt tell East from West, or who havenīt the slightest inking of basic astronomy.

Well, Aeonīs friend who has observed this might be right, or he might be wrong. Either way, thanks for bringing it to our attention.
The least we can do is consider the possibility that this has occured.
Anyway, Iīm more inclined to listen to the posting of a registered member, then any Anonymous Coward who comes here and screams īnot true, not trueī.

Aeon. Get someone to check the position of Sigma Octantis. That is the South Celestial Pole (SCP). You might find it is both higher off the southern horizon and to the right or left of a nominated ground target. It appears to be īmovingī more radically than Polaris (NCP).

If you can validate this it is likely Orion is off.

This translates to mean Earth is swaying in a spiral effect.

Do not be discouraged by Agent Provocateurs that post here telling you otherwise.

Noticed something really strange yesterday.
Was looking directly up at the sky in the afternoon and it was blurry. It was only when looking directy up. Really wierd. rubbed my eyes again and again and still blurry. The only conclusion I could come up with was it was the earth shaking and making the sky blurry. Anyone else notice this?

If the Earth had tilted that much the GPS system I use would be miles off wouldnīt it? Itīs as accurate as ever.

I canīt see The Americans being able to move ALL the satellites at such short notice to their new positions!

God told us that Orion binds would be loosed

Job 9:9 -
He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south;

Job 38:31 -
"Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, Or loose the belt of Orion?

Am 5:8 -
He made the Pleiades and Orion; He turns the shadow of death into morning And makes the day dark as night; He calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth; The Lord is His name.

Then you have no idea how the GPS system works, and the auto correction that is built into it!!

Look all you debunkers and skeptical losers!!! GIVE IT UP

You laughed at us all about meteors, pole shift, earth tilts etc...and now that the mainstream news is being forced (over the top coverage) I might add off the rotation/axis situation... you all are just super pissed now cause its true and your scared.

Go wipe your butt and face the new reality!

Re: Constellation Orion has shifted position.
Guys, if "orion had shifted" then the whole earth would have shifted that much. That means:

There would be a SUDDEN massive disruption of the weather systems (and the predictions would be completely unreliable) because the amount of sunlight would be suddenly changed to any given area.

The days would be unexpectedly longer in one hemisphere and unexpectedly shorter in another one.

Telescopes EVERYWHERE would have to be recalibrated (so hop over to astronomy boards and see how many people are whining about having to suddenly recalibrate their telescopes drastically.)
