Share the wealth he says. Well how about folks just pay their own way. I sure dont cotton to some welfare queen getting more money to have more babies. While thoses that work hard get it taken away from them from this clown. Nope sure aint voting for him. Nobody in my family will vote for him, but then if he dont win, then there will be thoses that say he was cheated. Can't win for losing. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 527767 United States 10/20/2008 11:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "The bogus Sarah Palin Banned Books List By Michelle Malkin" "Palin Derangement Syndrome strikes again. This time it’s hysterical librarians and their readers on the Internet disseminating a bogus list of books Gov. Sarah Palin supposedly banned in 1996. Looks like some of these library people failed reading comprehension. Take a look at the list below and you’ll find books Gov. Palin supposedly tried to ban…that hadn’t even been published yet. Example: The Harry Potter books, the first of which wasn’t published until 1998. The smear merchants who continue to circulate the list also failed to do a simple Google search, which would have showed them that the bogus Sarah Palin Banned Book List is almost an exact copy-and-paste reproduction of a generic list of “Books Banned at One Time or Another in the United States” that has been floating around the Internet for years. STACLU notes that the official Obama campaign website is also perpetuating the fraud." .......................... "Reader Martin: “If you read the Anchorage Daily News article, towards the bottom, you find that Palin requested the resignations not only of the librarian, but of several other township officials. Why? Because they were political appointees who openly supported her political opponent. Palin requested the resignations a few days BEFORE she assumed office, apparently for political reasons, as would be routine in ALL such situations, including in the very small town of Washington, DC. [Didn’t some no-name politician fire all of the US Attorneys?] Frankly, it’s far more remarkable (and shows a great deal of tolerance) for Palin to have KEPT Emmons in office. And you’d think people would consider the source when Emmons claims Palin wanted to ban books.” STACLU: “What the hell will they just make up next?” [link to michellemalkin.com] |

Especially Palin. It's almost like they aren't even trying to win. Or did they just get lazy after seeing GWB win twice? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 529611Mcain was TOLD to pick Palin... |

What has color got to do with anything? Many of you truly seem to have some sort of phobia to anyone with a darker colored skin. That must be hard, given that tans are so fashionable. Why not vote for him, i mean, it might make a difference. It actually wont, it doesn't matter who wins, everyone is still screwed. |

Why do you think it is slick? does this simultaneously attract and repel you? True...his bum is black and yours is obviously whitish pink, but the relevance of this is lost on me. And just because you don't understand what he says doesn't mean it's bullshit. Because there is such religious fervour over political parties in the States, your instinct is to demonize the other and assume shit is all they say (and again with your bum allusions...) What exactly is the alternative to welfare? Would you have children starving in your country? You would be less safe with the extreme poverty that would surround you without welfare programs. I guess you'll get the government you deserve, but why you would feel better with oil tycoons and old men who don't give a shit about poor people or about educating the nation is beyond me. |
