LMAO! The camping trip is an outdoor event. When I travel, I jsut accept that I'm going into smoking territory. Living in Northern Cali there's a bunch of laws regarding where you can and can't smoke... it's getting bad, in a way. Trying to control peoples lives and choices and force stuff down their throats... sorta sad.

I've read that sometimes migraines are due to lack of something in the system or sometimes too much... like not enough vitC or to many toxins.

Mine are triggered by changes in barometric pressure, fronts moving in and out. Sometimes by the muscle issues in back and neck that we were talking about the other night.

Ahhh.. that one is similar to my M-i-L's . She uses those packs that you can heat in the microwave or freeze. SHe says that that and a cup of coffee when she has a bad one middle of the night helps.

I scare my hubby... I can take a number of pills dry.

Oh, shudders. I can hardly take one at a time. Like CC said, I have to prepare myself. Drives MM crazy, he's just like take them already but I have to be ready. It's weird. I'm getting better but that butter thing sounds like it would work.

Yep. I am 40 in a month and I have watched several die like that. I quit for my wife several times. Didn't take. Finally quit for me, and I am over it. Still think about it even after all these years.

Hrmmm... ever tried a menthol vapor steam sinus tent thing? Or making a STRONG mint tea when you have a headache?

Yeah, I do take vicks and put it in a bowl of boiling water, put a towel over my head to make a tent and breath it in. It feels great. Sometimes, it's the only thing that helps depending on what kind of headache I have.

I don't, but hubby does. So I try to stay up on ways that can help. A shot? Is it new? His doctor though that they were mostly HBP related, and thta helps, but he gets bad headaches occasionally, always has since I've known him... I feel bad for him and worry when he does. I'll have him look into that.

My uncle gives himself shots in the stomach but I think those might be for people who are no longer helped by pills. I don't think I could give myself a shot! I've reduced mine alot just by regulating eating and sleeping and reducing stress.
