Look at this picture of the moon & earth, side by side. [link to www.solcomhouse.com] The Moon according to science has approximately: - 1/4 Earth's diameter - 1/50 Earth's volume - 1/80 Earth's mass. [ link to en.wikipedia.org] Now if mass determines gravity, "why does the Moon have 1/6th the gravity of the Earth?" Why do the astronauts as documented in the Apollo moon landings react to 1/6th that of the Earth's gravity?Shouldn't the Moon have, 1/80th? And if the menu changes and its no longer mass but volume that determines gravity shouldn't it be 1/50th? I'd be content if science came out tomorrow and says its 1/4th, lol, but not 1/6th, never 1/6th. Come on this should be easy for you film students. Hint: its got to do with the speed of ______________ . |
