I have decided to forgo my usually daily innocuous routines to stop and post this question for everyone here on GLP. Far from me writing a dissertation regarding the state of affairs of our country (United States of America) and the planet at large, as mankind we are about to be embroiled in a sequence of events that will forever alter mankind. So much the better, I suppose.


In the wake of the aforementioned sequence of events, many of us will certainly come to our demise, be it a swift death, or agenizing torture. As a former academic, you must seek out truth and follow the evidence where it leads you - despite kicking and screaming while on route. I have kicked and screamed. I no longer research many subject matters for the sole reason the totality and scope of events to transpire are easily decipherable for the few that remain unfazed by social engineering, propaganda, and occult manipulation/deceit.

I'm generally not prepared to get up in the morning, so when the poo flies I intend to run around like a headless chook.
I'll probably try to plead for my life. All in all I'm looking down the barrel at a pitiful and pathetic ending to the entity known as Irdooomed!

Unlike many woowoos here, I can't hide and trying to outlast the calamity isn't an option unless they let you. Also I won't get the option of being allowed to run, I'm so scroomed.

Joining a resistance sounds like a good idea for most woowoos, but any resistance will be mainly acting as insurgents, not unlike Iraq.

And I say yes to both parts of your question. I am ready for the inevitable moment of death. However, I am not suicidal and want to live as long as possible. I am hoping that I am able to witness certain historical moments, such as contact with extraterrestrials and confirmation of Planet X, a subject I have studied for many, many years.

Further, as a true survivalists, able to live completely off the land, I want to be around to help others, especially my wife and daughter, when TSHTF.

I will readily put my life at risk for the right cause. However, I believe to the depth of my soul that loyalty should never be to one’s country, but only to one’s sense of what is truly righteous and worthwhile. I would rather die fighting for the right cause than to live knowing that I did not.

Finally, while others merely believe in “life after death,” I know this to be the case. I have resolved this most important issue not with pure philosophical contemplation, but with logic, mathematics and science. It only took me about fifty years to get to that point. I have placed death in proper perspective, and I have not the slightest fear of it, although I do not actively seek it.

There is no incongruity between being prepared to die and wanting to live. Those who ask Christians “why is it that everyone wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die” just don’t get the full picture. It’s all about making the most of what you have been given, no matter where you are. It’s about defining who you are while you have the chance to do so. I elect to go to my God as a man who has lived a good life and fought the good fight, not as a quitter or a coward.

Wow! A tremendous array of resposes to a simple inquiry. None of us has ever died before. How many of you have witnessed the death of a human? One moment there, the next, gone. In that moment, I believe, we all feel the same thing. Freedom, and then, who WAS I? This may be worse for some than life itself; to realize who you were. Were you an asshole? Were you a cool person? Well, im sure that determines the nature of ones feelings towards death. I have been both an asshole, and a cool person. I have no idea what I'll feel like when SHTF. For a long time, nothing has moved me, everything seems to be happening as predicted, as it is predictable. My children keep things wonderful for me. key word here is WONDER. That is all I look forward to everyday is their laughter, and random childhood antics. I have means to protect them and my keep. But I don't know what I'll do. I am not ready to watch them perish. I just don't know what is going to happen. So, I have wrapped myself in a state of vigilance, caution, and awareness. I deem the reality as king over what transpires to humanity and have faith in the universal element which is indestructable, and will carry all of us into our deserved place based on wh we were. I'm scared of the physical act of death, but I have died before, so it is just my ego that is scared, not actually myself.

I do look forward to moving on from the way the world is now. It has made me very weary.
