Or do you intend on persisting through events to witness historical moments taking place before your mortal eyes?” Quoting: The Professor 385883And I say yes to both parts of your question. I am ready for the inevitable moment of death. However, I am not suicidal and want to live as long as possible. I am hoping that I am able to witness certain historical moments, such as contact with extraterrestrials and confirmation of Planet X, a subject I have studied for many, many years. Further, as a true survivalists, able to live completely off the land, I want to be around to help others, especially my wife and daughter, when TSHTF. You also ask: “Will you join a resistance? Will you fight along your fellow mortal beings as opposed to caving in to the illusion of divide and conquer?” I will readily put my life at risk for the right cause. However, I believe to the depth of my soul that loyalty should never be to one’s country, but only to one’s sense of what is truly righteous and worthwhile. I would rather die fighting for the right cause than to live knowing that I did not. Finally, while others merely believe in “life after death,” I know this to be the case. I have resolved this most important issue not with pure philosophical contemplation, but with logic, mathematics and science. It only took me about fifty years to get to that point. I have placed death in proper perspective, and I have not the slightest fear of it, although I do not actively seek it. There is no incongruity between being prepared to die and wanting to live. Those who ask Christians “why is it that everyone wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die” just don’t get the full picture. It’s all about making the most of what you have been given, no matter where you are. It’s about defining who you are while you have the chance to do so. I elect to go to my God as a man who has lived a good life and fought the good fight, not as a quitter or a coward. You asked some very good questions. I hope that the responses you get will be beneficial. Couldn't have said it nearly so well, so I'll simply quote The Professor who did! Thanks Prof! We know more than we know and understand less than we think. |

But yes I'm ready if it comes to that but if possible it will fun to take as many people out that want to take me out as I can before i bite the dust. No way I would just give up and make it easy for them. Nope, make them work for it. The more they have to work to take each person out the more time you might buy for someone else who can continue the fight for you. |

Even if they are worn out from a long day's ride, they gallop when that barn comes into sight. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 550601It seems to me that you are feeling like giving up just when the barn is coming into view. I feel the same way. I am very tired of the entire paradigm and sometimes I think that death would be more liberating that what I'm enduring now. But I am sensing that the barn is just around the corner. I've lived too long and spent too many years in service to others, watching the STS dominate, seeing the greedy and wicked be rewarded, total convolusion in government and society and a few other unsavory aspects of life in 3-D that wear me out. I am going to hang on as long as possible in order to have some closure with a smile on my face. I deserve to see the pendulum swing the other way. Think about it, what if you gave up just before the big extravaganza where justice became an actuality? The probability of things turning out great have an equal percentage rate as does the negative. Dream up a scenario you would like to see and pretend you are the director of a movie with those aspects. Daydream like you used to do in school and see if you might experience the reality of your dream coming to life. It can happen! I'm with this guy!! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 626778 United States 03/11/2009 06:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Fortunately, or unfortunately, however that works out I know I will not be dying anytime soon. It really isn't important why I say that so I won't get into it now or later. However I am ready to move on to what is next. Of course there is something next. At least for those of us who do not reject the offer. Most reject it. Especially those on this board. You know what I'm talking about so I won't elaborate on it either. I will give you a clue. There will always be peace makers on this planet until the very end. I am one of them. I will not defend my life to take your life. My life is not more important than that of others. I will also not be joining anyone to defend any artificial borders or countries. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 31094415 United States 05/05/2014 01:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have decided to forgo my usually daily innocuous routines to stop and post this question for everyone here on GLP. Far from me writing a dissertation regarding the state of affairs of our country (United States of America) and the planet at large, as mankind we are about to be embroiled in a sequence of events that will forever alter mankind. So much the better, I suppose. Quoting: Dissilusioned_Human 557198 In the wake of the aforementioned sequence of events, many of us will certainly come to our demise, be it a swift death, or agenizing torture. As a former academic, you must seek out truth and follow the evidence where it leads you - despite kicking and screaming while on route. I have kicked and screamed. I no longer research many subject matters for the sole reason the totality and scope of events to transpire are easily decipherable for the few that remain unfazed by social engineering, propaganda, and occult manipulation/deceit. Which leads me to my question stated in the opening post, are you genuinely prepared to meet your demise? Or do you intend on persisting through events to witness historical moments taking place before your mortal eyes? Will you join a resistance? Will you fight along your fellow mortal beings as opposed to caving in to the illusion of divide and conquer? I wish for the members of GLP to convey your thoughts to me, please. I am aware this is a charged climate; there are many spiteful individuals here. Their emotional crippled state, however, is shared among us all, no matter how overt or deft one is. I am lamenting over the knowledge I have gained over the years, and am humbled by the current state of affairs. I await your responses. This sounds like it could be referencing FUKUSHIMA, good job of predicting! For me, the answer to the question at hand involves simple logic: If there is an afterlife then the point of "death" probably doesn't matter much, all other things being equal. If there is NO afterlife than I'm ready to die because I consider this life to be pointless sans an afterlife. Either way, I'm ready to die. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 557302Yup..... I was impressed as well. Worded like the butler for Richie Rich.....UNTIL I came to the word, and I quote "agenizing". It was here that led me to think all the English education received was all in vain, and yet another loss in the faith as mankind in general. Before reading this, I was ready to fight tooth and nail, however now, after reading this blog, I think I'll just go over to my corner, shaking and quivering and just piss my pants. After all, isn't that what "proper" people do? Oh no, a typo was made. Crucify him! You fucking dumbass. |
