I wonder how many of us have reason to have rage against the cops? I'll bet it's at least ten percent of the population! You know damned good and well that the cops destroyed or hid evidence in this case as seems pretty routine for them to do. This arrogance and abuse has got to stop! Here we have a sex crime caught on tape yet nothing much will be done about it because of the collusion between the courts and police. We live in an unjust country and I suspect it wont be long till the brave start attacking back. Maybe you'll see bombs going off at police stations. Maybe you'll see corrupt or violent cops being lured into traps and shot like dogs or set on fire. Shit will only role so far up hill before it rolls back down. Do they really think another million traitors will be enough to wipe out the desire for human decencey-no it will lead to open rebellion and the final removal of the serpent bloodline by the sword so that humans can have their God given planet back.

She and her husband never said they cops raped her. They are claiming and sueing Stark County Sheriff, that the strip search was not done by the same sex cops, and excessive and outrageous force. It is standard policy everywhere that when arrested, you are fingerprinted, photo taken, and strip search conducted. If you are female, female officers conduct the search, if you are male, then male officers conduct the search.

It all began in Stark County, Ohio when Hope Steffey was assaulted by a cousin and another cousin called 911 for assistance. When the officer arrived, Ms. Steffey accidentally handed over her deceased sister´s license, which she kept for sentimental reasons. She immediately noticed the mistake and gave the officer her own identification and asked for her sister´s to be returned. The officer refused to return her sister´s license. The officer ran a check on Ms. Steffey´s license and found no infractions, but continued to treat her as though she were the perpetrator of the crime, instead of the victim.

Ms. Steffey states she begged for the return of her sister´s license until Officer Gurlea lost his patience and shouted, "shut up about your dead sister." When Ms. Steffey pointed at the officer´s pocket, which held her sister´s id, and said, "she was here, she was someone", Officer Gurlea threw her face down on the hood of his patrol car, chipping one of her teeth. And according to documents filed by Hope and Greg Steffey with the United States District Court in Cleveland, Officer Gurlea then threw Steffey to the ground. Although Ms. Steffey´s cousin repeatedly reminded the officer that Steffey was the victim and had been knocked unconscious in the previous assault, Officer Gurlea handcuffed Steffey and put her into the back of his patrol car, refusing her medical care.

Hope Steffey was then taken to the county jail and forcibly strip-searched by 6 to 7 male and female deputies, despite Stark County´s own policy which states that a strip search must be conducted by a same sex officer. She was left in a cell for 6 hours with no clothing or even a blanket and eventually wrapped herself in toilet tissue for warmth and modesty. She was not allowed a phone call or medical attention and when she was later taken to booking, she was given only a small weighted vest to cover her nudity. She was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

So far five women have come forward with similar cases of abuse at this Stark County jail, including one that was a victim of a sexual assault while employed at an Ohio medium security prison.

Near the beginning of the video you can see the black male officer helping to strip Hope Jeffey's panties off of her while the white male officer holds her down. The woman's bra and panties are removed along with all her clothing, exposing her bare naked breasts, ass, and vagina in front of the male officers, while they video tape. She is eventually completely stripped and left naked and handcuffed on the floor.

i was born in stark county, ohio and i am glad i left 35 years ago but LE is just as bad here in so fl so bad that in 1985 i was beaten by three cops and my civil rights were violated and the city of ft laud settled out of court with me and the cop who was responsible just made an unsuccessful bid for sheriff here in broward co.

Yup, this one has been out for a while. You can bet that this happens all the time all over the country, but no one ever hears about it. This one slipped through the cracks somehow.

It's old news. Happened at least a year or two ago now. There are other vids out there that are just as bad as this too. One where a woman is being interrogated by a cop, he shutd off the camera, when it comes back on she is laying in a HUGE pool of blood. Lemme see if I can find that one...

No update that I am aware of. you know how these things go. SPlash the headlines, then a month later everyone has fogetten and doesn't care anymore, and the whole thing gets swept under the carpet.

My guess is that she was convicted of something, and as apart of the plea-bargain forfeited any chance of suing. That's how my case went, after I was beaten and tased ten times on my front porch.

If not the City's Insurance company got her to agree to a structured settlement tied to a gag order.
