One point that Huxley missed though is that the subclasses develope abilites and gifts that the over class do not develop. I knew many dumbed down kids in school. Some of them became street wise and some became abnormally compassionate. Even with the deck obviously stacked against the lower classes many were able to move up. The dumbing down of the poor has been done since the cave man days. The Brave New World isn't brave or new it is just the world.

Look at the enviroment these kids are exposed to & the toxins they are exposed to.
