Thanks for the input, but access to good education is certainly not the only problem facing poverty-stricken children today. The link I added above outlines a dangerous agenda being perpetrated aginst us all, but is most clearly visible in poor families.
One must also consider these effects on children who were not necessarily born into poverty, but suddenly wound up there.
I was one of those children, though poverty struck a bit later, in my teens. I am of high intelligence, born to a good family, and yet i am homeless now for the second time in my life. The ecperiences have been traumatic in ways that even I cannot fully explain.
