They want to pressure the government into stalling the improvement of relations between Israel and the EU, because this is not the timing for this.

They also want the dutch government to make a statement, because the situation is getting out of hand, and we shouldn't just stand and watch.

They want some kind of pressure done to end the conflict sooner.
