Who is Sananda?

Who is this Sananda I keep seeing referenced in all these supposed "Galactic Federation" channelings? I saw something where he claims to be Christ (even looks like him), but many say he is an dark energy based imposter posing as Light.

Then I see the following Sananda name configurations:

Jesus Sananda
Jmmanuel Sananda
Sananda Christ
Jesus Jmmanual Christ Sananda Von Sananda III...

It sounds wacky, then I read Sananda is supposedly on St.Germaine's team of "White Knights". Perhaps then St.Germaine may be also darkness posing as Light, and misleading us with propaganda such as NESARA. We would all love it to be true, but at what point do you become a gullible fool? Am I supposed to believe anything just because it claims to be "channeled"?
