The concensus soon became that no manipulation methods were used and all hinged upon supply and demand.

The Demand was greater than Supply thus the higher prices.

Well well well , along comes a slow down in demand and immediately OPEC and the boys start reducing output to curb the supply to affect the lowering prices.

On Dec. 12, oil was $46.58. It did go down, but I think there will be fluctuations in price, maybe to settle around $50. Friday's close was $45.98. Let's hope it doesn't climb to near $150 like we suffered last summer.

With the sh-t hole economy, the job losses, the never ending taxes, interest rates, inflation; etc....we are in for some real trouble if that happens again. $100.00 dollar fill ups could happen again, sooner than you think.
