The Why of Worship.............ON YOUR KNEES LITTLE BATTERIES!!!

God does not want worship as much as He want relationship with man. He shows that continually in the Exodus, where He desires to dwell among His people, also in the garden God came down to walk with Adam. God created us for relationship.

Satan is who desires worship more than God, for it does "charge him" but YHVH needs no energy, He already has it all. All the energy of the universe and then some, but Satan does not, he is dependant upon the worship of his followers, and that is why their power is always limited and mine is not.

I am smart enough not to make a dumb statement like this, because I as all humans I don't know for sure. But it has crossed my mind why would a god want worship. Even as a lowly human with many flaws, I could not ever see myself wanting to be worshiped. Appreciated maybe. But I have to admit, I just don't get that one.

The higher the intellect, the less likely an individual will allow the mind to be controlled or to participate in religious dogma clubs. Saxon has a high I.Q. and also many years of philosohpical acumen.

Whatever name you call IT, doesn't really matter. The one who demands worship is not The Creator.

On the Seventh Day, God rested from ALL His work! The Lord God (the LAW) was in place, therefore The Creator need not interfere nor interject Himself in Man's daily life. He gave Man the Law which states that Man reaps what he sows. We are punished or rewarded BY our thoughts and deeds...not FOR them.

In other words, whatever we put out there is what we get back. It becomes very clear that everything we do, then, we do to ourselves. No matter how much we think we are doing something to someone else or for someone else, it all comes back to us. We truly are our own redeemer and/or jailer.

Anything that's added to the Law by way of justifying ourselves or defending ourselves or giving praise and/or worship cannot fool the LAW. God has no need to judge us as we do it to ourselves.

Why can't people understand this simple fact? If we don't understand it we continue to blame others or give credit to others for our own lives. This, then, sets up an endless round of involvement between Man and his neighbor. Maybe it's too simple to be understood? IDK. :-(

Great question OP. I find it interesting that us lowly humans find that wanting worship to be arrogant, and despicable. Yet God wants it. I also have wondered why a God would create a humans with all his flaws, and then condemn him to hell forever for being the way he is. That's just mean. If a human had the ability to do the same, he would be considered mentally ill. Lots of questions.
