Thanks. Printed and saved. Is the pearl barley important? I am completely unfamiliar with this ingredient.
You could probably get by without it, I think it just helps bulk it up and absorb liquid. Maybe slightly reduce the stock and it would be fine. You can find it in a bag near the dried beans in the mexican section of the grocery store. The only recipe I use it in is this one.
