When I was 19 I was out on my own. We used to party hard. I was at one of those parties that started at 11:00 AM and went to 4:00 am the next day.

I was sitting on a sofa, in the zone. You know what I mean totally drunk and stoned outta my mind. Next thing I knew I had a pistol in my face. The guy said I was gonna meet my maker. Well not to brag, but I was a pretty good hockey player, and all around athlete. Plus I was familiar with guns. I saw that the hammer was not back on this S&W 686. I knew I was faster than this asshole. I grabbed the gun, rolled him on the floor, and stuck the barrel in his mouth. I could have easy killed that mutherfucker, but I chose the right thing. Later in war I had to kill a few mutherfuckers.

The guy got upset I was making time with his girl.
Stuck a .32 revolver in my face, and told everyone in the room, he was going to kill me.
I slowly took the Shrade knife my dad had given me, from my back pocket and opened it one handed.
Stuck that razor sharp blade to his throat, drew blood..
Said: "Shoot MF and we'll see who dies first."

He did, and he did.

Bullet grazed my skull and knocked me out.
Still got a prominent forehead scar.
As I pitched back unconscious my blade went upward.
Took a knife to a gunfight and won, and lost.

Regretted it many times.
