Quoting: Anonymous Coward 589518You just answered your own question. Yep, via the 14th Amendment this is true. This is called jus soli citizenship. It is of feudal origin. It is of purpose to claim more bodies for taxation. feudalism, feud. 1. A political and economic system of Europe from the 9th to about the 15th century, based on the holding of all land in fief or fee and the resulting relation of lord to vassal and characterized by homage, legal and military service of tenants, and forfeiture. 2. A political, economic, or social order resembling this medieval system. American Heritage Dictionary Originally, the states were grounded in allodial title. User ID: 622540 United States 02/26/2009 04:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Supreme Court really needs to set a definition. Quoting: SHRThey did... Here is the dissenting opinion of Mr. Chief Justice FULLER’s with Mr. Justice HARLAN concurring in a case from 1898: …the views of the publicists had been thus put by Vattel: “The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. The framers of the constitution were familiar with the distinctions between the Roman law and the feudal law, between obligations based on territoriality and those based on the personal and invisible character of origin; and there is nothing to show that in the matter of nationality they intended to adhere to principles derived from regal government, which they had just assisted in overthrowing. Manifestly, when the sovereignty of the crown was thrown off, and an independent government established, every rule of the common law, and every statute of England obtaining in the colonies, in derogation of the principles on which the new government was founded, was abrogated. In other words, the fourteenth amendment does not exclude from citizenship by birth children born in the United States of parents permanently located therein, and who might themselves become citizens; nor, on the other hand, does it arbitrarily make citizens of children born in the United States of parents who, according to the will of their native government and of this government, are and must remain aliens. Was it intended by this amendment to tear up parental relations by the roots? U.S. V WONG KIM ARK. (18 S. Ct. 456) Of course that was the argument AGAINST a child of foreign parents having US citizenship at birth. Case is still used today. Little did many know what was really going on with the 14th Amendment was the communist plan of the NWO. The political measures appears in the Communist Manifesto as : 1) Abolition of the family! Even the most radical flare up at this infamous proposal of the Communists. 2) The Communists are further reproached with desiring to abolish countries and nationality.
