How bad will the unemployement reports affect it? Thanks, K I think today will have less damage than yesterday. Yesterday's selling was a response to today's report. |

Diet, I thought yesterday's selling was due to investors being disappointed in China not doing a stimulus. Job numbers are today, and again, it's gonna be fun ------- check out [link to www.intldyn.com] to get an idea of what I do. |

The virtue of courage is a prerequisite for the practice of all other virtues, because otherwise one is virtuous only when virtue has no cost. There are times when something needs to be done, and yet we know that if we step up and do this needful thing, we will pay a heavy personal price. -C.S. Lewis |

If and when there is a bottom, it will be when the doomsters have saturated the press, are on magazine covers, etc. When everyone has thrown in the towel, then is the time to buy. In the meantime...cash is king. Quoting: snarkAmen! |

Actually at the current rate of decent we will be closing in on 5,000 by Good Friday. 3,000 by beginning of June and by August the Dow will be measured in the 100's. |

It just never ceases to amaze me that people take their 'life savings' advice from people who have a vested interest in keeping their clients in the market no matter what the state of the market is in. Remember the movie 'Trading Places' when Eddie Murphey is getting educated in the market from Ralph and Mortimer? Client loses money we make money! Client makes money we make money No matter what Valentine we always make money. Well real life ain't too far from that scene in the movie. |
