You Americans take your gun ownership for granted, England is not like that, we are not really a gun culture apart from the CRIMINALS.
Anyway, i think out on the streets in a survial situation, a rambo style compound bow, would be superior, because you can make your own ammo, and a good hunting knife is also useful in more ways than a gun.
