Typical whipped lapdog of society conform. Someone gets any mark outside of a piercing... or bar code on their neck like you will from big gov... you freak all out. I didn't approve of tattoos myself before now: only for a wisdom issue = if they haven't thought the marks meaning for something positive or tribe meaning. This should not impact respect for them or not.
