I always say I can't figure out what tie will look good today, much less in 20 years. How can people possibly predict what will be attractive or meaningful to them in 20 years? Answer -- they don't care or more usually, they don't think.




That's the point.....they aren't thinking of the future...they're only thinking of today. That's why tattoos, until recently, have been only worn by mavericks. Tattoos are a permanent expression of an event or memory. People who truly love them will always remember the when, why and where associated with that image.

The very fact that you find them repulsive or demeaning will probably keep you from ever getting one, but some of us treasure these little and sometimes very large "stitches in time", lol.
