A Rhode Island man in Deerfield Park, Smithfield, watched a low-flying triangle UFO that climbed in altitude and moved between clouds as he shot video, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The witness estimates the object was first observed at about 3,000 feet. Once he had his video camera rolling, the object had moved up to about 15,000 or 20,000 feet, and seemed to hover and move within the cloud cover.

This video became distorted after downloading and the object is not showing up very well. You can see the original footage taken by going into the MUFON database at mufon.com - and giving the database the parameters of May 30, 2009, and Rhode Island.

UFO Traffic Report: dark object hovers over South Carolina beach



The UFO Traffic Report for Wednesday, June 10, 2009, includes 14 selected sightings over 13 states, according to witness statements filed in the past 48 hours with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

There was an increase in reported cigar or cylinder-shaped crafts in this report.

Today's stories include: a "dark fuzzy" object hovering over a South Carolina beach that was video taped; an interesting video from New York state where the witness was shooting images of the moon when a vehicle passed by - most likely a jet, but interesting to watch; five cases of cigar or cylinder-shaped objects over Missouri, New Jersey, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Louisiana; triangle UFOs over Louisiana and Illinois; the unusual cube-shaped object over California; a flash of light and then a disc spotted over Massachusetts; Amber-orange lights over North Carolina; a red ball of light moving over Kentucky; and a teal-colored fire ball over Oregon.

NY, June 5, 2009 - Casually videoing moon through telescope an caught unusal event.

Using my 8" Schmidt/Cass Celestron telescope with a CCD camera linked with my laptop I caught this event while setting up my system. Event occurred at 42 seconds into the video. I caught it while watching the process on my laptop. Immediately looked into the sky but could not see any evidence of a plane or lights of a plane. Observing conditions were Light cloud cover which was spotty, cool evening temperature approx. 61 degrees.

Lens Flare. Case CLOSED.

My son was driving east on Peters Road approaching State Road Seven at approximately 1 PM. I noticed a white cylinder slowly flying from north to south in the distance. It looked to be about an inch long at arms length and about 1/8 inch from top to bottom. It's movement was slow in fact at first I thought that it may have been a blimp as we have them often here. But it was not tapered, it was a solid whiteish color and there were no markings. It was at about a 35 degree angle.

I pointed it out to my son who also thought it looked similar to a blimp. We watched it travel 5 inches (at arms length) then dissapear. It almost looked like it evaporated, faded. The distance from us was hard to estimate as of course it would all depend on the length of the object. If I had to guess I woud say no more than 2 miles and that is a guess at best.
There were clouds but nothing as low in altitude as this was.

We discussed what we saw and somethings did not make this easy to explain.
As I said a blimp is not a cylinder it's tapered and usuallu has bright colors etc. Also if it had turned as opposed to "vanish" the profile would have slowly shortened as it did. Also this cylinder appeared to as far as I can tell fly level with no discernable motion usually blimps have a slight tilt and tend to have some up and down motion over a period of time.
In the end we were at a loss to nail it down to a specific source that we could easily identify. Now I have read a lot of literature on the subject, Dr J Allen Hynek and tried to observe carefully as to not make a simple error, so although I am not "trained" I am cautious.

It started on the 8th at 10:30 pm. I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone when I noticed a strange noise. It sounded like a mix between a flag blowing in the wind and a sparkler burning. It was coming from the sky and was loud enough that I notced it while in the middle of a conversation. I was on my back porch which faces east.

The noise seemed to be coming from the east. I looked all around the sky but saw nothing. I yelled at my brother inside the house to come out and listen. After a while, I walked a few blocks away to the police station where I could see the whole sky. There was not a thing that I noticed. There was no wind at all so I was very curious to what was making the sound. It was coming from the sky.

I live fairly close to the interstate and am very used to the sound as I smoke outside and here it at least an hour a day. I finally went back inside to watch a movie but came out over the next 2 hours frequently and the sound was still there. I stay up late because I work nights but was off this particular night. At 2:00 am, my girlfriend came over. I met her outside on my back porch. The sound was more faint at this time but was still fairly easy to hear.

My girlfriend picked up the binoculars and looked toward where the sound was coming from. She instantly spotted something. When I looked through the binoculars I could see what appeared to be an upside down triangle. With the naked eye it looked like a faint star. At first I thought it was a star that just looked strange through binoculars.

Then I realized it wasn't when I noticed it was slowly moving all around the eastern sky. I could tell it was moving because of it's relation in the sky to the stars and the trees behind my house. We then got out my brothers rifle with a high powered scope. We could really see much more detail with the scope. The triangle always stayed upside down with some black in the middle. It was reflecting tv mmonlight as it was a full moon or at least pretty close to it. We watched the object for about three hours.

When it finally dipped to low for me to see it over the trees, I got in my car and drove to the service road next to the interstate. As I drove east up the road, I could not see any stars because it was very bright in the area because of all the city lights. Day break was also beginning. As I prepared to turn around, I saw what appeared to be a super bright star in the east. It was very, very bright. It was the only light I could see in the sky. It appeared to be just a few miles away. Because I was low on gas, I could not get on the interstate and try to get any closer.

At this same time, my stepfather, who is a pilot was on his back porch having his morning coffee. He noticed the same light and was bewildered by it also. He had could not explain it either. When I got home I tried to find the triangle and the bright light again but had no luck.

Why people have hard time realizing that these so called UFO are secret plane projects of USAF just like stealth fighter before it was revealed.
