Complexity is something a lot of people still don't get. George Bush's clarity was refreshing to a lot of people who voted for him. But clarity in the face of complexity can be inadequate nowadays. Just as he was inadequate for today's rapidly moving interconnected world and its constantly evolving crises.

The video had a lot of good stuff in it. But it was lacking in nuance, especially given the speed with which the new global information-society world changes from month-to-month.

Just saw the vid, and I'm glad to say that it does make everything succinct and very easily understood.
However, my only complaint would be the part where the narrator states that in order to prosper, you must contribute to efforts of prosperity.
I know that that could apply to a person working as a contracter or someone under the leadership of a filthy-rich executive at some big-name corp. While the intentions of the vid are, I believe good, that srot of work-for-another-so[that-you-may-gain-yourself is just perpetuating that myth. I'm not entirely sure that that encourages self-innitiative like that found in successful entrepreneurs.
Oftentimes, entrepreneurs have to start from scratch and suffer a bit until they have the opportunity of seeing their goals come to fruition.

Truth is eternal, never changes.

Problem is our thoughts are so automatic and repetitive we don't even see them.

Controlling thoughts is harder to do than most people realize. Try it and see how hard it is.

The things that don't change are more important than those things that do change.

Really. Assign at least one of your beleaguered brain cells to that idea.

Well I don't know what it is, it must be somekind of universal rule but an intense constant and unceasing focus on something(desire,object,whatever) seems to somehow overtime make that something gravitate towards you, call it what you want but it's real.

Sad. Your perceptions limit your abilities.
Most all religions tend toward a similar message and until you find that out for yourself, it's difficult to make the increased "spiritual" growth required for success of "self" in ones mind's eye of life/living.

having a goal of x dollars doesn't work. you must have a more tangible, or better physical goal. Like own x number of investment properties by x date or having all debt paid off by x date....these goals work better with this truth.

And its a motivational speaker which I prefer to never believe. Or anyone preaching christianity for that matter.

this agrees with a show i saw on tv a while back. it was a psychologist and they said successful people THINK of themselves as lucky and unsuccessful people THINK of themselves as unlucky. it'a a self fulfilling prophecy.

Just start being aware of them and it will get easy. Also, it is not just what you are thinking but how you are feeling about it. Monitoring how you feel is much easier. You feel bad, figure out how to turn that around. Being grateful and thankful can help a lot.
