Noctilucent Clouds (NLCs) : a sign of a new Ice Age?

Here in Greece the temp is high (35o C today in Athens) but the "strange" event is that for more than a week now we have storms nearly in every 2-3 days, at noon or early afternoon. The rain with lightning etc lasts of only a few minutes and then the sky gets clear again. I recall such "noon storms" back in the summer of maybe 1988 (not sure). Back then we had rain for nearly two weeks every afternoon, nearly by the clock (2.30 pm if I remember well). This was very strange.
