This is a site that gives h1n1 swine flu symptoms.. [ link to www.everydayhealth.com] A little further down in the treatments section, at the same site, it says this... A: As of now, the new virus is killed by two antiviral medicines — Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir). Based on experience with other flu viruses, treatment would be most effective if given within two days of the onset of symptoms. As long as this current swine flu virus is infecting people, it is likely that health authorities will recommend that people with more severe illness take these medicines. On the other hand, there is no proven benefit from using the medicines before symptoms develop, and there is proven harm: unnecessary widespread use of these drugs could produce drug-resistant viruses. This proves that taking the medication in mass doses before symptoms even appear can be more deadly than the flu itself, perhaps causing it to mutate into a more deadly, resistant form..our government is trying to kill us. Good for you!! Also when a prescription says "Take ALL/finish all this medicine" is another IMPORTANT THING TO DO. Some people, stop taking their meds when they feel better MAJOR MISTAKE AND COULD BE DEADLY. Bacteria and viruses have life cycles. The meds interupt different bacteria in their replications stages. That is why say, penicillin is good for the lysis(death) of one type of bateria and won't do squat on another type. Some people also start getting ill, take the leftover medicine and not a complete regime and just piss off the bateria and they come back stronger that ever. Completing a prescription kills them all over time, leaving no stragglers.
