So when the study is conducted by one phamaceutical company and is peer reviewed by another pharmaceutical company then that makes it safe?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 728339No, pharma companies do often fund resarch but peer review before publication is generally done by respected, unaffiliated scientists in the field. Anyway, this study is being conducted in multiple university-affiliated sites across the country and funded by the US government via the NIH so it's a moot point.
