Are you one of the Last Mohicans?
One foot in the past, one in the future?

Do you remember life before all of this wonderful advanced technology?

Do you remember life before microwaves, ATMs, digital anything, calculators, clocks, vehicle dashboards.

Do you remember when cars, bikes and trucks were made out of metal and leather? They were built to last forever.

Do you remember life before cable TV?

How about those old flashbulb cameras... remember them?

FFS, we practically lived like Quakers. lol

Are you one of the last?

I am... and there are times when I miss those more simple times.

Re: Are you one of the Last Mohicans?
I was born in 75, and I remember the old commodore 64, Atari's and hand held donkey kong. But I also remember the days being super long... and leaving the house at 7am and not being home till 6pm. My days were spent playing outside - my next door neighbour was the same age as me. We used to fight like cats and dogs, but we also used to have fun.

As kids we were happy to play by ourself, now I have to micro manage my kids just to get them away from the freaking playstation and cartoon channel. sigh....

Ive not watched TV for like 5 years - more like ten if you consider watching tv about five times a year for the previous five years before that.

I really dont miss it - I cant stand the media that uses your brain to make other people famous almost like a camera and they telling you who you should think is good from you shouldnt. In actuality when i listen to the radio these days (i photographic memory) its such a joy to not have to picture the images of someone when they mention their names on radio. I dont know who they are... he he he ..! It is a joy truly you should try it but it will take you about 4 years before the names you hear have no faces attched to them.

Like reading a book and then seeing the movie. I am always dissapointed with who they cast as the characters.
