They was the best psychedelic group of 60´s. Their album 666 was top1 for one year. Today as you walk at the home of Vangelis, you walk on keybords and synthesisers. (still crazy and nice guy as then). |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP, Glad to see this thread. Thanks for posting. Vangelis is extremely talented. I have five tapes/CD´s of his and enjoy them very much: Antarctica China Soil Festivities Opera Souvage Themes They´re all excellent but I think my overall favorite is Antarctica (His soundtrack from the movie - a sad/happy movie about sled dogs that were left behind in Antarctica,,, after a year or so some had survived on their own and were rescued.) His L´Enfant on the Opera Souvage tape is what attracted me to "New Age" music mny years ago. If you´ve never heard any Vangelis works (which I highly doubt), do yourself a favor and give them a listen - you won´t regret it. They´re timeless. --> In Beautiful (and snowy) Ohio <-- |

It has been stated his music helped England win the second world war, as he gave his country man a heightened sense of patriotism. |
